Gosia Herba is a Polish illustrator and author who grew up in the small town of Oława. For more than a decade she has drawn for publishers, magazines, music labels and advertising agencies, mixing traditional techniques with a modern sense of shape and colour, and a good dose of humour. Her illustrations have appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Washington Post and Monocle. She has also created many children’s books and graphic novels, and in 2022 Invented by Animals, which she illustrated, won a Blue Peter Book Award. In her free time, she makes porcelain figurines and vases.
